  Current knowledge of alternate energy sources as a starting point for future energy supplies.

  most of us old timers left behind a stable, respected, religious heritage in our disillusioned haste to join a stupid cult.. as i recall, there was no rite of dissociation required - no reason offered to your church, no resignation required - it was a non-event from the dubs viewpoint.

  what was your experience?

  were you expected to do or say anything as you abandoned your spiritual heritage to become a drone in the watchtower hive?.

  A Bible and Quran of course.

  We wouldn't want the harried survivors to delay the opportunity to institutionalize hatred and war as soon as possible.

  After all, wasn't their last worlds economy founded on warfare? - got to have an economy - and what better foundation than greed, power and oppression !

  Child Abuse Trials

  i'm currently working something up to share with a few people.

  i was wondering if anyone knew the current number (estimation) of child abuse cases that are going on (that we know about)?

  i don't get much time to be on here right now but it seems that cases are sprouting everywhere.

  You are unlikely to hear of abuse cases from Central America. Those countries are ''lawless'' in practical terms.

  The leaders flap their gums, fly about the world slurping hors d'oeurves at conventions for child care and protection etc.etc., adding their countries as signatories to noble ideas - then they return home and do absolutely nothing to implement any improvements or pass into law the protection of rights.

  There is no family law, no child support laws even. Child abuse (like all forms of crime) is rampant - only making the public awareness when a very young girl becomes pregnant .

  Litigation is dangerous as applicants, witnesses, prosecutors and media sources are often murdered.

  Not hard to see why an American JW child molester was located in Central America a few years back.

  this time it's a building to house a/v production a few minutes from patterson.

  Feeling indifferent

  right now, at this point in my life, i feel like i should be angry, sad, upset, annoyed, whatever emotion that most of you guys here feel or have felt.. but the overwhelming feeling i get, and i have got since waking up, is indifference.. i think that this might be my subconscious coping mechanism.

  when i go to the meetings or take part in any other wt related activity, i don't care.

  i just really couldn't care less.. i mean, i do care, but i think it's more a fascination now about the whole thing.

  It was caring, after all, about such stupid religious drivel - that trapped us with their self serving truths.

  i began watching a well-reviewed crime series -- dicte -- in streaming netflix last night.

  although it is compelling, the audio was in danish and was close-captioned into english.

  i didn't complete the first episode because watching cc is too laborious for me.

  I'm with OrphanCrow on the sub titles.

  I often prefer shows with subtitles as the European acting and directing are magnificent - far better than Hollywood .

  Getting hard of hearing so even the great BBC English language shows are getting tough without subtitles.

  I hope this show becomes available in Canada or iat the library.

  Education, education, education....

  an update on my life post education..... as the governing body continue to denounce higher education, reality continues to prove their words ignorant, ill informed and blatant lies.

  i am proud and astonished to say i have just been accepted for a university teaching hospital post.

  i have a seriously sought after, senior house officer job in intensive care, endocrinology and clinical pharmacology.
